Where the Mountains Meet the Table
Fresh Alaskan seafood, hand-tossed pizza, hearty steaks, and Italian classics served harbor-side beneath the Chugach range.
Our Story
For more than 50 years, Mike's Palace has fed Valdez travelers, harbor workers, and families looking for a warm table after a cold day outside.
The setting does half the work: snow-capped peaks, glacier-fed waters, and fishing boats moving through the harbor just beyond the front door.
The rest is on the kitchen: Alaskan seafood, char-grilled steaks, hand-tossed pizza, generous plates, and the kind of unfussy hospitality that keeps people coming back.
Halibut, salmon, king crab, shrimp, oysters, and chowder with a local harbor feel.
Big, satisfying cuts served with the confidence of a classic Alaska dining room.
Hot pies, generous toppings, crisp edges, and a menu broad enough for every table.
Pastas, chicken parmesan, shrimp scampi, tortellini, and comfort-food favorites.
Friendly, fast, and personal enough to make visitors feel like regulars.
A dramatic Valdez backdrop that turns dinner into part of the trip.
"Best food in Alaska."
